This is a picture, made for Club-Sannin September contest "Back to school". I don't know why, but I saw this as a kind of field practice. There was a filler in anime, where genins where supposed to teach academy students survival skills. So I resumed that pedagogical practice was a common thing in Konoha. And this picture came to my mind at once.
That's what could happen if Sarutobi told his apprentices to give some lectures to youngest students... The Sannin here are not older than 18. The book Orochimaru's reading titeled "The Preservation of corpses, ch.2" (I made too small letters..) I think that Jiraiya has skipped from azimuth calculating to something more heroical pretty soon. Looks like now he is very close to Onbaa story... Since the kids here are the 4th Generation of Konoha shinobi, it's obvious who some of them are. The front row - Shikamaru's dad, Minato Namikaze - Naruto's dad, and unknown girl. The backrow - Chouji's dad, unknown girl, Sasuke's dad, and Shino's dad. The two girls I have no idea. They both have light color hair, so I do not think one of them is Kiba's mom.
Anyway, to cut through any confusion, the line-up (for me) of the generations as follow:
1st Generation - 1st and 2nd Hokage
2nd Generation - 3rd Hokage and his two teammates who became his advisors
3rd Generation - The Sannin (Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru)
4th Generation - Minato, Kushina, Shikamaru's dad, Chouji's dad, Kiba's mom, Shino's dad, and Hinata's dad.
5th Generation - Kakashi, Rin, Obito, Anko, Kurenai, Asuma, Gai, etc.
6th Generation - Konoha 11, Sasuke, Sand sibs, and Sai
Good idea as I stated regarding this art. It did made me thought about the previous generations of shinobi before the canon events.

You are right about future mr.Nara, mr.Akimichi and Yondaime. As for Uchiha kid - he may as well be Sasuke's dad, yes. The idea about Shino's dad surprized me, because I didn't intend to draw there someone particular - but now I think that he perfectly fits this place
As for the girls I wasn't drawing them as known characters at all

Yes, someone even proposed that Jiraiya is telling them about the calculation of size of something wich is 106... But I think that as long as Tsunade is close beside him, it seemes unlikely...
